Ghanaian highlife singer, Bisa Kdei has the
highest number of nods at the 2016 MOGO Awards.
The highlife artist secured 7 nominations. The
nominations include MOGO Song Of The Year, MOGO Artiste Of The Year,
MOGO Best Songwriter Of The Year, MOGO Best Performer, MOGO Best Producer, MOGO
Best Album Of The Year and MOGO Best Male Act.
Known as Music Of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO), the award
scheme organized by Accra based Citi FM is aimed at celebrating Ghanaian music
figures and groups.
Other nominees for this year’s MOGO Awards include Sarkodie,
Stonebwoy, MzVee, E.L, Obrafour, Becca, Efya, Sena Dugadu, VVIP, Okyeame
Kwame, Osei, Appietus, Killbeatz, Kaywa, R2Bees, Gasmilla, Kofi B, Akwaboah,
Kwabena Kwabena, Amakye Dede, FOKN Bois, Afro Harmony, Patch Bay & the Ohia
Be Ye Ya Band.
The event is slated for 5th March 2016, and
will take place at Alisa Hotel from 7pm.
