Our very own celebrated international Ghanaian music icon,
Rocky Dawuni, was also presented at the new product launch of the
Marleys.
The 2015 Grammy Nominee, Rocky Dawuni, at the launch of the
product met with Protoje, Stephen Marley, Yaadcore and others.
Stephen Marley and Protoje played for the night of the
launch - Yaadcore from Protoje's camp and Shinehead were the jocks.
#MarleyNatural is a store that promotes and produces
consumables made from marijuana. Along with the official launch of the product
was to educate global citizens more about marijuana and as well introduce the
products to the public, taking into consideration the positive value from the
plant for human cum medicinal consumption and other uses. The launch of the
product was part of Bob Marley's 71st birthday celebrations.
The product line includes four categories of all-natural,
locally sourced sun-grown cannabis flower and oil. Body care products and
smoking accessories. The cannabis is grown at local farms from experienced
growers and doesn’t suffer from pesticides or chemicals. Jamaica is famous for
its Rastafarians that worshiped the properties of ganja, but it was actually
illegal in the country until recently. It was decriminalized for residents that
have under 2 ounces last year. So far, it is only available in California, but
the company hopes to expand to other states.
