The Fante Rapper, Kofi Kinaata, left fans crying for more after
his whooshing performance at a concert in Bawdie, in Wasa Menfi Constituency in
the Westeern Region of Ghana.
His new single "Sweetie Pie", a love song he did
specially for Valentine's Day and to win more female fans was one of the jams
he perform d from his catalogue. And fans in Bawdie had the opportunity to see
Kinaata perform it for the first time live before them. The crowd was thrown
into a frenzied mood when the rapper went soft in key to perform the new song.
But to Kinaata's surprise, the fans were already singing along with him as he
perform d the song. With just 3 weeks after release, it is no doubt that
"Sweetie Pie" would come as his follow up hit single after
"Susuka" which has gone viral across the length and breadth of
Ghana.
Yes, he performed "Susuka" too and the response
was massive. They wouldn't let him leave the stage after he performed
"Susuka", the last from his catalogue for the night. The venue was
full to capacity with female fans extra close to the stage and pulling his (Kinaata's)
pants and sneakers.
Kofi Kinaata who eyes the Songwriter of the Year Award in
the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2015 is very hopeful for an
interesting year and he's putting in a lot of work than before, so he gets to a
higher level with his act.
